Pamela has been working with adolescents and young people for the past 35 years. Growing up in a single parent household and on welfare, she realized it was HER – that would change her future. She is a first generation college graduate, putting herself through college, working 2-3 jobs to make ends meet, she didn’t always know how she would do it…just knew that SHE would. She has a Master’s Degree in Education, is a former television fitness personality, is a speaker for the Positive Coaching Alliance and has been teaching high school for the past three decades. If asked, what her greatest accomplishment is, she would say the legacy she has in her three children.
As a high school teacher, she interacts and reaches youth every day. She has seen and experienced the challenges facing today’s young people. The pressures to do all, be all, the comparison paradigm, the social media influence – they are trying to live someone else’s life, not the life intended for them. This is the reason they are struggling to find themselves. An individual doesn’t know what they need in life until they figure out who they are. Until you get where you are supposed to be, you will be frustrated. Pamela’s passion is to help young people find the life they are intended to fulfill.
